BOLT ON Joins The Automotive Maintenance And Repair Association

Leveraging digital technology, BOLT ON has created products for shops to better educate and inform customers through the use of text messaging and digital photo enhanced vehicle inspection sharing.

BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, a national leader in shop management software solutions, has joined the Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA). AMRA is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to strengthening relationships between motorists and the automotive service and repair industry, through education and industry standards.

Bolt On Technology - Logo“Having BOLT ON become an AMRA member and supporting the Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) just made sense,” said Mike Risich, founder and CEO at BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY. “AMRA/MAP’s standardized communication values align directly with our company’s objectives: to make the automotive repair process easier for both service professionals and customers, while helping to strengthen the connection between vehicle owners and their car care professionals.”

“The AMRA and its Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) support all industry efforts that help to strengthen the connection between vehicle owners and their automotive service provider,” said Al Wheeler, AMRA chairman. “MAP supports all advanced technologies that enhance the ability of motorists and service providers to effectively communicate automotive repair and service requirements using industry standards.”

Leveraging digital technology, BOLT ON has created products for shops to better educate and inform customers through the use of text messaging and digital photo enhanced vehicle inspection sharing – a format that produces transparency between motorists and shop operators. The company says its software integrates with most shop management systems and takes the traditional repair process to the digital era – anywhere from digital check-ins when a customer pulls into a shop to digital invoices that can be printed or sent electronically.
