Spencer Massey To Drive ODYSSEY Battery Top Fuel Dragster In NHRA Nationals At Maple Grove Raceway

odysseyODYSSEY battery by EnerSys, an affiliate sponsor of Don Schumacher Racing (DSR), announced it will be the primary sponsor of Spencer Massey’s Top Fuel Dragster for the 30th annual NHRA Nationals taking place at Maple Grove Raceway Oct. 2-5. Maple Grove Raceway is in Mohnton, Pa., just outside of Reading, where the EnerSys world headquarters are located.

“We have the opportunity to showcase the ODYSSEY battery brand colors on Spencer Massey’s Top Fuel Dragster thanks to our relationship with Don Schumacher Racing,” said Dave McMullen, director of commercial marketing for specialty and UPS markets at EnerSys. “We are looking forward to the NHRA event at Maple Grove Raceway, which is so close to home for many of us, and hope that the ODYSSEY Battery Top Fuel Dragster brings luck to Spencer and the entire DSR team!”

ODYSSEY battery has been providing support to the DSR team as an affiliate sponsor since 2010. In addition to the ODYSSEY Battery Top Fuel Dragster, the ODYSSEY battery logo can be found on many of DSR’s driver uniforms, Funny Car and Top Fuel drag racing competition vehicles, transporters and technology trailers throughout the NHRA Drag Racing Series.
