The collectible is captured in 1:18 scale die cast replica, complete with a custom paint scheme and vintage 1939 North Carolina license plate detail to commemorate WIX’s 75th anniversary year.

“The classic 1939 Ford Coupe is the ultimate American vehicle, making it the perfect addition to our collection of die cast cars in the year WIX marks its 75th anniversary,” said Mike Harvey, brand manager for WIX Filters. “This one-of-a-kind traditional hot rod with various period styling elements is perfect for collectors and hot rod fans.”

To introduce the die cast, an in-store promotion begins April 1 and continues until May 23, or while supplies last. Proof-of-purchase requirements include the purchase of three premium filters (oil, air and cabin air) in one transaction and $14.95 for shipping and handling.

The hardtop die cast replica features period black paint with custom cream/red scallops on each fender; color-coordinated red interior; period full “moon” discs to represent hot rods that were “show-and-go;” opening hood and trunk; detailed Ford Flathead engine; and whitewall tires.

In addition, the custom-designed model features WIX-branded window-box packaging with retro deco, a special WIX 75th anniversary logo and a certificate of authenticity.

The die cast will be produced as part of a point-of-sale kit for customers that include a counter card, poster and pressure-sensitive sticker sheet with pricing. For more information on the kit or collectible, contact your nearest WIX distributor.
