The National Pronto Association Selects DENSO to be among its ‘Supplier of the Year’ Recipients

The National Pronto Association awarded DENSO Sales California (DSCA) the 2010 Original Equipment (OE) Supplier of the Year award. The award was presented during Pronto's fall membership meeting on September 15, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN. Pronto has awarded DENSO the OE Supplier of the Year Award in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

The award was presented during Pronto’s fall membership meeting on September 15, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN. Pronto has awarded DENSO the OE Supplier of the Year Award in 2006, 2008 and 2009.  

“2010 has been a tough year for everyone, that makes receiving this award from the National Pronto Association an especially significant honor for us,” said Frank Cisek, senior manager, Aftermarket Sales, DENSO Sales California. “We have received the Supplier of the Year award four of the last five years. At DENSO, our goal is to become trusted partners with our customers, we feel these awards reflect that.”

The National Pronto Association, an organization of independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors, auto parts stores and auto service centers, has members throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. 

Pronto members were asked to rate each supplier on the following criteria:
• Product quality;
• Profitability;
• Delivery Performance;
• Service;
• Support; and
• Marketing Programs.

DENSO supplies Pronto with oxygen sensors, spark plugs, starter/alternators, spark plug wires, fuel pumps, A/C compressors, wiper blades, receiver dryers and oil and air filters.

DENSO Sales California is an automotive components sales and distribution company that employs 285 people in Long Beach, CA.
