Matt Tifft To Drive Federated Truck In NASCAR Season Opener

FederatedFederated Auto Parts will sponsor Matt Tifft when he competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season opener on Feb. 20 at Daytona International Speedway.

“When the chance to sponsor Matt at Daytona came our way, we jumped at the opportunity,” said J.R., Bishop, director of motorsports and event marketing for Federated. “Matt has been a great ambassador for Federated since he raced the Federated ARCA car last year and we are pleased to continue our relationship with him in 2015.”

The NASCAR Camping World 250 starts at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Feb. 20 and will be televised live on FOX Sports 1.

Last season, Tifft drove the Federated ARCA car in 10 races with five top finishes. He is scheduled to drive it again in select races in 2015.

“For the truck race at Daytona, we are planning a special throwback paint scheme in recognition of the 30th anniversary of Federated Auto Parts,” continued Bishop. “We will unveil our special 30th anniversary logo in advance of the race, so follow us on Facebook to be the first to see it before the great night of racing in Daytona.”
