The brackets and accessories combinations that H3R Performance sells have been accepted by the race sanctioning body for use in all categories of NHRA Championship Drag Racing.

“NHRA approval of our billet bracket mounting accessories is a testament to our product quality,” said Chris Dieter, vice president, marketing and distribution, H3R Performance, Inc. “These brackets securely attach our premium MaxOut and HalGuard extinguishers or any other fire extinguisher with a cylinder diameter of 3 or 2.6 inches to the race vehicle roll bar, chassis or firewall.”

Made of solid billet aluminum and available in 10 different SKUs, the company’s new billet mounting accessories offer a more stylish look and greater versatility with polished and brushed finishes and both flat surface and roll bar mounting options.

Currently, the company sells four compact HalGuard and four MaxOut extinguishers that come standard with proven aviation-style mounting brackets. New band clamps fit 2.6” (1.4 lbs.) or 3.0” (2.5 lbs.) diameter fire extinguishers, and can be combined with a flat surface mount or either a 1-5/8 inch or 1-3/4 inch roll bar mount for secure mounting under demanding racing conditions. A pull pin is used to quickly release the extinguisher from the mount.
