Green Earth Technologies’ G-OIL Rolls Out at Honest-1 Auto Care

This announcement comes on the heels of a deal with National Auto Stores and Amazon.com for G-OIL distribution.

Green Earth Technologies (GET) announced recently that its G-OIL Ultimate Biodegradable green motor oils will now be sold at Honest-1 Auto Care, a national full-service auto repair and maintenance franchise chain. Honest-1 Auto Care is 100 percent ESA Certified Eco-Friendly Auto Care and is committed to offering consumers sustainable and green alternatives at each of its 20 locations. This announcement comes on the heels of a deal with National Auto Stores and Amazon.com for G-OIL distribution.

G-OIL went through Honest-1’s stringent performance tests and will be rolled out to all stores by mid-January. G-OIL SAE 5W-30 is also the first and only bio-based motor oil to pass all the engine test criteria for The American Petroleum Institute (API) SM Certification and be officially granted the API "Donut."

"Honest-1 Auto Care has been a pioneer in the automotive space, offering environmentally friendly and sustainable products years before their competitors," said Jeffrey Loch, Green Earth Technologies’ Founder and CMO. "We are proud to have G-OIL motor oil sold in their stores as our company strives to create a new GREEN solution within the motor oil category."

"We are committed to providing our customers with a wide range of high-quality automotive products such and are proud to work with Green Earth Technologies and endorse G-OIL, a real game changer in the motor oil industry. As we begin this new year, we hope to see a rise in sustainable and eco-friendly offerings following the lead of Green Earth Technologies," added Rissy Sutherland, senior vice president/operations of Honest-1 Auto Care.

G-OIL is the world’s lowest petroleum, "eco-friendly," ultimate biodegradable motor oil priced comparatively to synthetics and similarly performing products. Unlike traditional petrochemical-based motor oils from leading manufacturers, Green Earth Technologies’ G-OIL is made with American-grown renewable animal fats. These saturated fats, whose molecular single-bond carbon chains are similar to common petroleum oils, have no harsh effects on the environment, and drastically cut America’s dependence on foreign oil, says GET.

Alternator Testing For No Charge Conditions

Many alternator problems turn out to be nothing more than a bad connection at the alternator or a bad wiring harness.

If only battery voltage is present at the battery on a running engine, does this mean the alternator is “bad?” No, it does not. It only means that the alternator is not charging, but does not reveal why. Therefore, it does not point to a faulty alternator. All too often, the alternator is condemned by technicians due to this test alone. The cause could instead be a module that distributes the power to the vehicle and regulates the alternator.
