GearWrench Extends Hooks And Picks Product Line

GearWrench-Hook-PickGearWrench has introduced 12 new open stock hooks and picks and two new hook and pick sets to its current Hooks and Picks product line.

Eight of the new hooks and picks have the same handles and slim shanks as currently offered GearWrench hooks and picks, but the shanks are longer for improved access.

They feature chrome-plated alloy steel blades for strength and durability.

The other four new hooks and picks have larger 4.6” handles with extra-long, heavy-duty, large-diameter shanks for improved access and greater strength.

The SKU 84010 Eight-Piece Long Set includes:

– SKU 84011: Full Hook
– SKU 84012: 90° Pick
– SKU 84013: 45° Pick
– SKU 84014: Double Angle Pick
– SKU 84015: Complex Pick
– SKU 84016: Angle Hook Pick
– SKU 84017: Combination Pick
– SKU 84018: Straight Pick

The SKU 84020 Four-Piece Heavy-Duty Set includes:

– SKU 84021: Full Hook
– SKU 84022: Straight Pick
– SKU 84023: 90° Pick
– SKU 84024: Combination Pick

The new SKUs will also be available as open stock items.

“We’re pleased to offer the new shank designs, which will enable techs to get their jobs done more efficiently,” said Jim Stewart, product manager for GearWrench. “We take the requests of technicians very seriously and this line expansion responds to their continuing need for tools that help save time in the shop.”

The new hooks and picks have alloy steel shanks, which are heat-treated to deliver the optimal strength required for durability. Shanks are very securely fixed in tri-lobe ergonomic handles to prevent them from turning or pulling out. The handles are also resistant to gas, brake fluid, antifreeze and other solvents.

The sets are shrink-wrapped and safely packed in a vacuum formed tray with a removable cover. The tray is designed with a small footprint to be used in a 2″ tool drawer.
