Auto Care Association Impact Award: Four For The Future Now Open For Nominees

Nominees are now being accepted for the Auto Care Association Impact Award: Four for the Future, which annually honors four aftermarket professionals, age 40 or younger, who have made remarkable contributions within the auto care industry, at the AAPEX Show in Las Vegas.

Auto-Care-Association-Logo“Auto Care Association Impact Award winners represent the best of the next generation of auto care industry leaders,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “The Auto Care Association takes pride in investing in the future of our rapidly-changing industry, and we are honored to recognize these exemplary young professionals who have already achieved success through professionalism, hard work, dedication and remarkable abilities.”

The 2015 winners of the Impact Awards were:

• Ron Aparicio, Mevotech
• Alena Van Cleave, A & Jay Automotive Warehouse
• Justin Hebert, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance
• Ted Hughes, MAHLE Aftermarket

“Being nominated and chosen for the Auto Care Association Impact Award: Four for the Future has been an honor,” said Van Cleave. “Past recipients have already made strides in really driving the future of our industry; it is a privilege to join the ranks.”

The awards are administered by the Auto Care Association Marketing and Communications Committee, and are supported by the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG).

The award is open to anyone age 40 or younger, with relevant professional work experience, of which a minimum of two years must be in the auto care industry. Award winner companies must be Auto Care Association members in good standing. Nominations are due by Aug. 1, and honorees will be notified in late September 2016.

The online nomination form is now available at autocare.org/impact. A resume or professional biography must accompany the nomination. For more information, contact Danielle Sonnefeld at [email protected] or 678-894-0832.
