An insurance company is suing an Aldine auto repair shop after a truck it insured was allegedly stolen from the shop.

United Fire & Casualty Co. filed suit in Harris County District Court on Oct. 5, claiming John Villarin, doing business as M.R.T Auto & Diesel Repair, allegedly failed to properly store and attend to the truck it insured when the truck was stolen from the repair shop.

It was later found by police, stripped of all its useful parts.  As a result, the truck was unsalvageable.

It was the responsibility of Villarin, the United Fire & Casualty claim, to provide adequate security for the truck, the suit claims.
