The Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the International Automotive Technicians’ Network (iATN) will jointly sponsor the fourth annual Service Professionals Industry Reception Thursday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. in Event Center B at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The event will be an opportunity for service professionals to network and to visit 50-plus exhibitors that will be on hand to showcase new products, services and technologies.

The reception will take place during the AAPEX and SEMA shows, which will run Nov. 1-4, and will officially launch ASA’s Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), to be held Nov. 3-5. “Both iATN and ASA have earned their place in the automotive repair and service industry. Going with the theme for CARS 2005, ‘Tool Chest for Success,’ ASA and iATN are two valuable tools that should be in the hands of every service professional,” said Robbie Addison, ASA’s Mechanical Division manager. “CARS continues to be the place to find top quality technical training and management classes. But just as important, it provides excellent networking opportunities for all service and repair professionals.”

There is no cost to attend the reception and advance registration is not required. Attendees, however, must be iATN or ASA members and have either an AAPEX or CARS badge to access the event.

“The reception is the perfect opportunity for the industry’s best and brightest to network, catch up with friends and meet other members,” said Brent Black, iATN founder and president.

Information about the reception is available at CARSonline.org or members.iatn.net/meetings/vegas05.
