Clevite Engine Parts announces the addition of a Heavy Duty curriculum to its popular e-learning system. The e-learning system is available 24 hours a day and accessible to anyone with an internet connection. After completing a short registration, users are assigned a password and given a selection of courses from which to choose.
“The engine parts world is becoming more complicated every day,” explained Clevite Heavy Duty Brand Manager Jay Wagner. “With this Heavy Duty e-learning program, we’re able to condense that information and make it available to virtually anyone.”
Each course consists of various phases, which are each composed of different chapters. Each chapter uses graphics, diagrams and text to provide useful information that will help expand the user’s heavy duty knowledge and increase their confidence when dealing with heavy duty applications.
The first phase of Heavy Duty e-learning is now online and provides general information as well as a mechanical review. Phases two through six will focus on specific engine types. By completing a test at the end of each phase, users will be able to print off a diploma identifying them as a Clevite Heavy Duty Tech.
“Our customers are better able to serve their customers if they are equipped with the right information,” said Wagner. “The e-learning system puts those resources right at their fingertips.”
Clevite’s entire line of e-learning, including Heavy Duty, is available at www.cleviteelearning.com and can also be accessed through its main website, www.engineparts.com.
