CADNA Automotive has developed a new Belt Inspection Report sales tool for automotive aftermarket technicians. This handy checklist, which is provided to the vehicle owner by their technician, identifies the most common symptoms of belt failure. It provides the vehicle owner with an educational report to help them make an informed decision on belt replacement.
The report provides images and details of the four most common warning signs and symptoms of belt failure, including: squealing, cracking, chunking and fraying. Most notably, it gives an estimate of a belt’s remaining useful life based on the technician’s diagnosis of its current condition, and if necessary, recommends immediate belt change.
”Many car owners do not realize that automotive belts are a critical maintenance item,” said Dan Clevenger, president, CADNA Automotive. “Our new inspection report is a convenient tool to help technicians promote awareness of the importance of belt maintenance and to ensure no vehicle in need of a belt change leaves their facility without its owner being aware of the need.”
CADNA is making its complimentary Belt Inspection Report available to all CADNA customers. To receive copies, contact customer service at (888) 757-8556, or email [email protected]
