Wells Vehicle Electronics Announces New Smog Test For Gotech Mobile Diagnostic Tool

Available as a free in-app upgrade when using the GoTech device, the Smog Test allows users to identify incomplete powertrain system monitors, which may indicate issues related to excessive emissions levels.


Wells Vehicle Electronics has announced the implementation of its new Smog Test for the company’s GoTech Mobile OBDII Diagnostic Tool.

Available as a free in-app upgrade when using the GoTech device, the Smog Test allows users to identify incomplete powertrain system monitors, which may indicate issues related to excessive emissions levels.

With the GoTech device and free app, users can use their compatible mobile devices to scan vehicles and monitor performance, define powertrain trouble codes, access Wells’ proprietary library of more than 10 million diagnostic records compiled by Master ASE-certified technicians, and clear powertrain trouble codes.

The device can store up to 10 vehicles and includes a freeze-frame option.
