MaxxTraxx And VAST Are Now Mobile-Ready With Bolt On Technology

Using Mobile Manager Pro, shops will be able to take photos of needed repairs for inspections and send the results directly to customers via text message. Service advisers also will be able to communicate with technicians by using the team chat feature built into the tablets and computers.

bolt-on-technology-logoBOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, a provider of auto repair software solutions, has announced integrations with Scott Systems’ MaxxTraxx and MAM Software’s VAST to help auto repair shop owners boost efficiency, look more professional and increase revenue by making the two shop management systems software-compatible with Mobile Manager Pro on Android-enabled tablets.

“This integration adds a new layer of productivity to shops running these systems,” said Mike Risich, founder and CEO of BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY. “Now MaxxTraxx and VAST shops can send and receive text messages from customers, perform multi-point digital vehicle inspections and communicate with the rest of the staff using team chat.”

Using Mobile Manager Pro, shops will be able to take photos of needed repairs for inspections and send the results directly to customers via text message. Service advisers also will be able to communicate with technicians by using the team chat feature built into the tablets and computers. Shop owners also can improve profitability by capitalizing on advance scheduling of oil changes and other maintenance services. Lube Sticker Pro enables auto shops to customize oil change intervals based on the type of oil, and dates based on the customer’s driving habits, as well as OE guidelines.

“When we demonstrated our software in the past, a lot of shops say they loved it, but didn’t want to switch from the shop operating systems they had been using for years,” recalled Frank Dragoni, director of national sales and corporate partnerships. “Now, those same shops can take advantage of the software solutions they have been wanting to use. In 2017, we will be increasing the number of systems we will be working with.”
