DENSO Partners With OptiCat To Enhance Digital Catalog Support

Denso-Logo-300x166DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc., a division of global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has partnered with OptiCat LLC, a supplier data management company, to make online access to DENSO’s aftermarket product catalogs faster, more efficient and more reliable.

Through the OptiCat OnDemand network, retailers, technicians and other DENSO partners now have “near real-time” access to catalogs featuring DENSO’s full line of replacement parts for cars and light trucks, according to the company. The network ensures customers get the latest information about new replacement parts, product updates, images, specifications and other essential data within days of DENSO uploading changes to its digital catalogs.

“Success in our industry starts with having the best information as quickly as possible,” said David Williams, DENSO’s senior manager of marketing and strategic planning. “Swifter and more accurate data delivery ensures our customers have the information they need when they need it.”

The company says OptiCat specializes in optimizing digital catalog systems for the automotive aftermarket so suppliers can get the most current and dependable catalog data to their customers as quickly and smoothly as possible. OnDemand’s data delivery system conforms to industry standards (ACES, PIES and AWDA). It also accommodates unique data sets a specific customer may require.

The OptiCat OnDemand network is available to DENSO customers at no cost. Companies already using OnDemand can access DENSO product data by requesting “DENSO information.” For more information about joining the network, contact Brandi Williams at [email protected] or 801-542-0560.
