On Dec. 2, the Automotive Service Association (ASA), ASA-Midwest and the Missouri Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP-MO) will host the second annual safety inspection forum in St. Louis. The forum’s mission is to raise awareness about the importance of periodic vehicle inspection programs to motorist’s safety and develop strategies to protect these programs nationwide.
Capt. Lester Elder of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be featured as one of the forum’s key panelists. With a law enforcement career spanning 25 years, Elder will share his experiences as division director of the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division. Joining Elder will be Paul Rehbein, senior chief MVI inspector and Sgt. Paul Meyer, major crash team investigator.
Stay tuned for more information on the forum’s presenters over the next few weeks. ASA encourages anyone involved in the automotive industry to attend this important automotive safety program. To register for the program, visit TakingTheHill.com.
