Mitchell 1 Unveils Enhancements To Streamline ProDemand User Experience

Mitchell-1-LogoAs part of Mitchell 1’s continual product improvement process and in direct response to customer feedback, enhancements have recently been introduced to ProDemand, Mitchell 1’s automotive repair, diagnostic and maintenance information software.

“The latest enhancements are just the next step in our efforts to continuously add new features and data to our software solutions and improve the user experience in order to give customers more value,” said Gary Hixson, market manager for ProDemand, Mitchell 1.

One of the key updates is an expanded Quick Links bar, now more prominently displayed in the 1Search module, directly below the search box. Mitchell 1 says this puts the most commonly searched data right at technicians’ fingertips, making it even easier to access the information they use the most in ProDemand. The Quick Links bar includes data for common specs, fluids, tire fitment, reset procedures, service manual, wiring diagrams, code diagnostics, component locations and technical service bulletins.

Other new features in ProDemand include:

• Reset Procedures are now available in the Quick Links bar, providing a shortcut directly to the maintenance indicator and tire pressure monitor reset procedures for every vehicle.

• Select printing – users can now select specific, smaller segments of an article to print, pinpointing the exact information they need for the vehicle they are researching.

• Search highlighting in 1Search – after entering a term into 1Search, ProDemand now highlights that search term in the article. This saves time for technicians by clearly indicating where the search term has been referenced.

• How-to videos added to the home screen – after logging into ProDemand, all users will now see links to training videos that provide a quick tour of key features in ProDemand. This information is especially helpful for new users, but also for anyone who wants a quick refresher on navigating in ProDemand or tips for getting the most value out of 1Search, SureTrack and other product features.
