Fall Car Care Month Planning Begins At CarCare.org

October-Fall-Car-Care-Month-300x143A quick visit to www.carcare.org can help shops, stores and auto care organizations get started with plans for Fall Car Care Month vehicle check events.

“Hosting a community car care event is a ‘no-pressure’ way to interact with current customers, attract new ones and demonstrate how an investment in auto care will keep their vehicles running better and longer,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “The Car Care Council has the tools to help local businesses take advantage of this valuable opportunity. All it takes is a quick trip to carcare.org to learn more.”

Inexpensive to conduct, community car care events can raise awareness of your business in the community, while growing your bottom line at the same time. To view a video on how to host an event, visit www.carcare.org/industry-participants/host-an-event. You can register your event on the Car Care Council’s website and request up to 100 inspection forms free of charge. The council has a map feature to make it easier for motorists to find an event in their area.

To make your event more visible, the Car Care Council will promote registered events through its various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale materials can be ordered through the council’s online catalog. Popular items include “Car Care Month” and “Event Today” banners. In addition, the council’s Car Care Guide can be ordered in bulk, ensuring you have a popular give-away item on hand for attendees.

To learn more about Fall Car Care Month and other ways to get involved with the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign, visit the Car Care Council’s Industry Tool Box at www.carcare.org/industry-tool-box.
