Carter Fuel Systems Expands Fuel Pump Line Coverage

Carter Fuel Systems, a U.S.-based manufacturer of complete fuel system solutions, has introduced 47 new part numbers covering a series of model year applications ranging through 2014.

Extending coverage to more than 21 million additional passenger vehicles, the new part numbers include (40) fuel pump module assemblies, (1) hanger assembly, (3) direct-injection mechanical fuel pumps, (1) electric fuel pump, (1) pump kit and (1) fuel pump sender assembly.

Passenger vehicles that fit the new part numbers include, but are not limited to: Chevy Cobalt, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Honda CRV, Honda Civic, Chrysler 200, Chrysler Town and Country, Ford F-150, Ford F250, Ford Edge, Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

“These new part numbers further demonstrate our commitment to providing the best in class vehicle application coverage for our customers,” said Mike McKee, vice president of category management, Carter Fuel Systems. “With components manufactured in a TS 16949 certified plant and stringent engineering reviews throughout the manufacturing process, we deliver OE fit and form every time.”

The company’s CleanScreen filtration technology also is available in select Carter fuel pumps, modules and assemblies. This innovative strainer incorporates multiple layers of filtration eliminating premature damage due to contamination, according to the company.
