Mitchell 1 Names Winner of ‘Shift Into High Gear’ Facebook Sweepstakes

Jack Cooper Jr., general manager of Chesapeake Auto Repair Service in Centreville, Md., is the lucky grand prize winner in the Mitchell 1 “Shift Into High Gear” Facebook sweepstakes. Cooper has won an all-expense paid trip to attend Mitchell 1’s shop management training workshop in Scottsdale, Ariz., April 30-May 2.

“Thanks to everyone who ‘Liked’ Mitchell 1 on Facebook and entered our ‘Shift Into High Gear’ sweepstakes. We are very pleased with the response we received,” said Nick DiVerde, senior marketing director for Mitchell 1. “We congratulate Jack Cooper Jr. as the lucky grand prize winner and look forward to seeing him at our shop management workshop next month.”

As the sweepstakes winner, Cooper will receive round-trip airfare for two people to Scottsdale and three nights at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, workshop tuition for two people, plus breakfast, lunch and refreshments each day. Workshop attendees will be welcomed at an evening cocktail reception on Thursday, April 30 and training will run all day on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2.

The training is designed for shop management software users who want to learn more advanced capabilities, shortcuts and new features. The two-day session guides users through all levels of functionality of Mitchell 1 Manager SE and ShopKey Management SE. Older versions are also covered. Attendees can expect lively discussions on how to use the management system to energize their business, increase profits and boost productivity.

Topics include program setup, inventory, reporting, best practices, advanced transactions and integration with aftermarket cataloging. Attendees will also learn about the Mitchell 1 SocialCRM shop marketing service during a relaxed evening reception. A practice lab equipped with computers and staffed by product specialists will be available throughout the workshop so attendees can practice and apply the skills they are learning.
