Florida Pneumatic Offers Torque-Controlled 1/2″ Impact Wrench with Digital Display

The FP-745TCI is a torque-controlled 1/2" impact wrench to incorporate a graduated torque setting dial whereby the operator can select four specific torque settings in the forward direction. It also features built-in indicator lights to show the operator when the correct torque level is reached.

 

Florida Pneumatic Manufacturing Corporation has introduced the FP-745TCI torque controlled 1/2” impact wrench, which has been designed for professional tire service/auto techs.

The FP-745TCI is the first torque-controlled 1/2” impact wrench to incorporate a graduated torque setting dial whereby the operator can select four specific torque settings in the forward direction (the torque settings are in graduations of 65 ft.-lb., 80 ft.-lb., 100 ft.-lb. and 120 ft.-lb. with an accuracy of +/ -10%).

The FP-745TCI also features built-in indicator lights to show the operator when the correct torque level is reached; along with a digital display showing the actual torque level achieved. There is also a control button to change the digital read out to Nm torque from ft.-lb. torque.

The FP-745TCI provides 800 ft.-lb. maximum torque in the reverse direction, and features the unique Florida Pneumatic “ECD” easy change of direction bar for ultimate efficiency when removing and replacing lug nuts.

Weighing in at 5.1 lbs the FP-745TCI incorporates a hard hitting twin hammer mechanism; powered by a high energy six-vane 8,500 rpm motor; the tool also features a 2” extended drive and through handle exhaust.

The FP-745TCI indicator lights and digital display are powered by three AAA standard batteries.
