Hundreds Of Additional Sensors, Switches, Other Parts Now Available From Wells Vehicle Electronics

Hundreds of new original equipment-quality sensors, switches and other components have been added to the Wells Vehicle Electronics product line, extending the company's offering of solutions to more than 375 million additional domestic and foreign nameplate vehicles.

Hundreds of new original equipment-quality sensors, switches and other components have been added to the Wells Vehicle Electronics product line, extending the company’s offering of solutions to more than 375 million additional domestic and foreign nameplate vehicles. Nearly 330 of the 488 part numbers are new to the aftermarket, enabling replacement parts distributors and professional automotive service providers to increase sales and customer loyalty through this coverage, the company says.

The new Wells part numbers include 150 accelerator pedal position sensors for approximately 10 million vehicles, 53 combination switches covering an additional 54 million vehicles and 45 door lock actuators that extend the company’s coverage to 8.5 million more passenger vehicles. Wells also introduced 33 new OE-quality emissions, ignition and fuel injection parts that together cover nearly 20 million registered vehicles.

“Being first to market in the vehicle electronics category is an important competitive advantage not only for Wells, but also for the distributors and service providers who sell and install our products,” said John Zochert, director of marketing and product management for Wells. “Our channel partners can’t afford to lose a sale to the OE dealer because that customer might never come back.

“Our engineering and product management teams have done an outstanding job of making sure the right, OE-quality part is available for virtually any vehicle that has entered the aftermarket replacement cycle.”

Wells’ complete line of components is featured in the company’s convenient, user-friendly electronic catalog available at www.WellsVE.com.
