Racing fans can connect live with NASCAR Sprint Cup driver and Champion spokesperson Kevin Harvick during the next #ChampionChat session on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. ET via Twitter, TweetChat.com and the VYou.com conversational video site.

Harvick, driver of the No. 29 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, will have just finished two days of on-track testing at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Sponsored by Federal-Mogul’s iconic Champion brand of spark plugs, wipers and chemical additives, the monthly #ChampionChat series has generated millions of brand impressions and thousands of tweets in 2012. The series also is closing in on 50,000 views via VYou.com, according to Federal-Mogul.

“This will be a great time to get Kevin’s perspective on the 2012 season as well as some of the changes ahead for NASCAR teams in 2013,” said Federal-Mogul Brand Strategy Manager Jessica Wynn. “Kevin really enjoys these opportunities to keep in touch with racing fans as well as the millions of consumers who, like the No. 29 team, rely on Champion products.”

Harvick will answer questions via Twitter and TweetChat.com from 7 to 7:30 p.m., then switch to the VYou.com video site for an additional 30 minutes of live conversation. To ask a question, simply log on to TweetChat.com or Federal-Mogul’s @ChampionParts Twitter feed and add the #ChampionChat hashtag to the end of each tweet.

The #ChampionChat series is part of an aggressive grassroots campaign created to connect the latest “Performance Driven” Champion technologies with millions of consumers, including a new generation of racers and performance enthusiasts. In addition to the live monthly chats with Harvick, Federal-Mogul and the Champion brand also sponsor the “Search for a Champion” video contest, through which racing teams from across North America are competing for $125,000 in Champion sponsorships for the 2013 season. Additional information, including racers’ video entries, can be found at www.AlwaysaChampion.com.
