PaceSetter Performance Products Offers Direct Fit Catalytic Converter For 2004-2007 Nissan Murano

PaceSetter Performance Products offers a direct fit catalytic converter for the 2004-2007 Nissan Murano with the 3.5L engine. This 'under-car' catalytic converter (#324150), a direct replacement for the original equipment unit, has heat shields for the catalytic converter.

PaceSetter Performance Products, designers and manufacturers of quality-made, affordably-priced exhaust systems and components, offers a direct fit catalytic converter for the  2004-2007 Nissan Murano with the 3.5L engine.

PaceSetter Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters utilize mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum efficiency and CNC-machined thick steel flanges for a factory-like fit and good seal, said the company. This ‘under-car’ catalytic converter (#324150), a direct replacement for the original equipment unit, has heat shields for the catalytic converter. It is, however, not legal for use or sale in California.

Using EPA-approved catalytic converters for OBD II applications, PaceSetter created an extensive selection of OBD II applications for both foreign and domestic brand cars and light trucks – from Malibu to Camry and BMW to Escape.

ASE Practice Tests Available Online

You can get a good idea of what to expect by adding the official ASE practice tests to your study plans.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is reminding those preparing for ASE certification, or recertification, to consider taking the official practice tests as part of their test preparation process.

The official ASE practice tests cover the ASE automobile tests (A1 through A8), four medium/heavy truck tests (T2, T4, T6 and T8), automobile service consultant test (C1), automobile maintenance and light repair test (G1), automobile advanced engine performance specialist test (L1) and automobile parts specialist test (P2).

Tech Tip: No Start in Cold Weather Due to No Weep Hole

This condition can be caused by condensation freezing in the muffler assembly.

Determining Catalytic Converter Efficiency

Almost every part on the engine determines how long a catalytic converter will last.

Oxygen Sensor And Catalyst Efficiency

The catalyst efficiency monitor verifies that the catalytic converter is operating at a high enough efficiency rating to keep exhaust emissions within predetermined values. The PCM compares the signals from the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors to determine the state of the converter. These “tests” are called the readiness monitors.

Catalytic Converter Replacement

If you are replacing a catalytic converter for a customer, it is not the same as replacing a muffler or pipe. Since the catalytic converter is an emissions device that is federally and locally mandated, documentation is just as key as proper installation.
