Transtar Industries has announced the release of its 2011 Automatic Transmission Parts catalog. Featuring more than 150 automatic transmissions, this catalog is the most comprehensive, accurate, up-to-date and user-friendly catalog in the industry, according to Transtar.
“Every day, our team hears from customers regarding how often they utilize all of Transtar’s catalogs. Transmissions have grown so complex that it is difficult for anyone to keep up with the massive amount of changes,” said Jim Berry, vice president of marketing. “Transtar understands how essential the 2011 Automatic Transmission Parts catalog is to our customers. Whether they need to order parts, keep updated on the latest fixes or see exploded views, this catalog is necessary in every shop.”
“At Transtar, we understand that world-class customer service isn’t something that you do once. It’s a reputation that you earn on a daily basis,” added Neil Sethi, president, Driveline Distribution Group. “We want to be sure that we provide customers with the solutions and tools, like our new catalogs, to help them do their jobs more effectively and efficiently.”
The 2011 Automatic Transmission Parts catalog covers 15 new transmissions, such as the GM 2ML70, Ford 6R140 and Volkswagen O2E (DCT). Many new photographs have been added, as well, says Transtar. For example, catalog features photos of the main and auxiliary pump filters for the GM 2ML70, to help customers recognize transmissions that may be difficult to identify. Also new to the catalog are terminology pages, technical manuals and a transmission code section that contains alternative names for transmissions. Additional charts for Honda have been added as well.
“This catalog has more new information than any past catalog,” said Mike Riley, Transtar’s technical director. “Each and every section has been updated, including replacement parts that fit Allison transmissions. Our team also organized this 728-page catalog alphanumerically giving customers easy access to this vast amount of product information.”
