If you encounter instances in Model 163.1 up to Chassis No. 357786 of high oil consumption (reference WIS document no. AF18.00-P-8044D), the seal ring (see B, Fig. 1) between the intake pipe (see A, Fig. 1) and the throttle actuator may require replacement.
Note: To prevent unnecessary removal, reference the following WIS documents before proceeding:
- AF18.00-P-8044D — High oil consumption.
- AR18.00-P-0025AV — Measure oil consumption.
To resolve the issue, replace the seal between the intake pipe and throttle actuator with new P/N 112 141 1880. Old P/N 112 141 0180 should no longer be used.
