Yokohama Partners with Mopar on TIREWorks Program

Thanks to a new partnership with Mopar and its TIREWorks program, consumers will soon have thousands more outlets to buy Yokohama tires. Yokohama's full line of consumer tires, including its flagship ultra-high-performance brand, ADVAN, will be available at more than 3,700 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers across the U.S., beginning immediately.

Thanks to a new partnership with Mopar and its TIREWorks program, consumers will soon have thousands more outlets to buy Yokohama tires. According to Bruce Buckles, Yokohama manager, O.E. Dealer Sales, Yokohama’s full line of consumer tires, including its flagship ultra-high-performance brand, ADVAN, will be available at more than 3,700 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers across the U.S., beginning immediately.

This is the second business venture between Yokohama and Chrysler in recent months. Earlier in the year Chrysler tabbed Yokohama’s AVID S33 tires as O.E. on its 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.

"The Mopar TIREWorks program is a tremendous opportunity for Yokohama," said Buckles. "First it allows our dealers to increase sales by supplying thousands of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealerships with our strong line of tires, and secondly, it helps us connect with new consumers across the country."

Yokohama Tire Corporation is the North American manufacturing and marketing arm of Tokyo, Japan-based Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., a global producer and distributor of premium tires since 1917. Servicing a network of more than 4,500 points of sale in the U.S., Yokohama Tire Corporation offers a complete line of tires, including high-performance, light truck, passenger car, commercial truck and bus, as well as off-the-road mining and construction applications.
