Matthew Riley of A&E Automotive in Chico, CA, is the lucky grand-prize winner in the Mitchell 1 “Shift Into High Gear” Facebook sweepstakes. Riley has won an all-expense trip to attend the upcoming Mitchell 1 Shop Management Training Workshop in Jacksonville, FL., Oct. 3-5.

“We would like to thank everyone who ‘Liked’ Mitchell 1 on Facebook and entered our ‘Shift Into High Gear’ sweepstakes,” said Nick DiVerde, senior marketing director for Mitchell 1. “We are very pleased with the response to our Facebook promotion as it exceeded our expectations. We congratulate Matthew Riley as the lucky grand-prize winner and look forward to seeing him at our next Shop Management Training Workshop.”

As the sweepstakes winner, Riley will receive round-trip airfare for two people to Jacksonville and three nights in a double occupancy room at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, workshop tuition for two people, plus breakfast, lunch and refreshments each day. Workshop attendees will be welcomed at an evening cocktail reception on Thursday, Oct. 3 and training will run all day on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5.

The two-day training session guides users through all levels of functionality in the Mitchell 1 Manager and ManagerPlus system. Instructors will explore program setup values, inventory, reporting, best practices and advanced transactions as well as integration with aftermarket cataloging. The workshop explores both of Mitchell 1’s popular shop management solutions – Manager 5.9 and Manager SE (version 6.4) – since setup and operation is similar for these products. Users of both platforms will benefit from this training experience. Attendees will also learn about the Mitchell 1 SocialCRM customer retention and new customer acquisition service during a relaxed evening reception.
