Vast-Auto Distribution introduces the brand-new “MyPlace VIN Scanner” application. This technological innovation allows users of its Net Value tool to scan vehicle identification numbers using a smartphone or a tablet.

The “MyPlace VIN Scanner” application allows users to permanently store VIN scan history, save a list of favorite VINs and push VIN scans into a Net Value account to easily find the right parts for their customers’ vehicles.

Additional features include:
• Accurate and fast VIN scan
• Full VIN scan details
• Scanner light for low light conditions
• VIN displayed in Net Value account
• Manual VIN entry
• VIN history list
• VIN favorites List
• Possibility of copying and pasting the VIN
• Possibility of sending VIN decode using standard device share options (email, text message, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.

To get started, download the app from Google Play or the Apple Store by searching for “MyPlace VIN.” Once logged in to Net Value, users can scan the QR code at the bottom of the welcome page to get the activation code.
