May 04, 2011

MERIDIAN, ID -  A local repair shop wants to say Happy Mother’s Day, by giving single moms a free oil change.

Heritage Auto Repair in Meridian is offering a standard lube, oil and filter this Friday, May 6 only. The oil changes will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, but you can also make an appointment.

The auto shop has been holding the event for seven years now.  The owners say it’s a thank-you to all the hard-working single moms out there.

"I’ve seen the struggle single moms go through and we get ’em in here all the time with that pained look on their face," says Heritage Auto Repair owner Tony Zanders.  "We know how to take of their car and how to take of them.
