purolator-logo-revisedPurolator has announced the launch of PurolatorTECH professional grade filter program designed specifically for the vehicle service professional. PurolatorTECH is the latest offering from the newly repositioned and re-energized Purolator filter products brand, and will focus on providing top OE-quality products at competitive pricing with comprehensive coverage within the oil, air and cabin air filter lines.

PurolatorTECH oil filters offer 96.5 percent dirt removal power and cover 99 percent of the vehicles in operation (VIO), according to Purolator. Engineered to meet or exceed manufacturers’ performance requirements, these filters feature rugged internal construction and an anti-drainback valve to protect against dry starts, the company adds.

The company says PurolatorTECH air and cabin air filters are engineered to provide reliable and optimal performance. The new, expanded line of air filters is designed to ensure maximum airflow, high efficiency and increased engine performance, offering more than 97 percent of VIO coverage. PurolatorTECH cabin air filters are available in particulate or carbon depending on OE configuration, with more than 95 percent VIO coverage.

“PurolatorTECH represents our renewed effort to provide vehicle service professionals with trusted, reliable and premium performance products to strengthen their business,” said Kevin O’Dowd, global director of product and brand marketing for the automotive aftermarket for MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters LLC. “We can now provide our traditional channel partners with the opportunity to fully leverage the strength of our Purolator product programs and marketing support.”

To support the launch of the new line, the company has released the 2016-‘17 PurolatorTECH Filter Catalog, which provides a comprehensive listing of filters available for markets in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The catalog is available in tri-lingual print and online versions, and includes a buyer’s guide, competitive interchange and a hotline directory in addition to the application listings by vehicle year, make and model, covering the past 20 years.
