PEAK Automotive Debuting Five New Products at AAPEX 2011

PEAK Automotive Products will introduce five new products at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), which starts on Tuesday, Nov. 1. To help launch the products, PEAK Automotive spokeswoman and IndyCar and NASCAR National series driver Danica Patrick will join the company at its booth (No. 2850) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 to sign autographs, take pictures and meet fans.

The products that PEAK Automotive will debut include:
 
• 5,000,000 Rechargeable Spotlight — The 5,000,000 Rechargeable Spotlight features an adjustable stand and a locking on/off switch for hands-free use. The rubber grip handle made for comfort and control and a 5.5-inch diameter reflector ensures there will always be a shining light when it’s needed, PEAK says. The 5,000,000 Rechargeable Spotlight can be found in stores starting in the first quarter of 2012 and retails for $24.99.  
 
• 5 Watt LED Spotlight — With a runtime of 5 to 6 hours and a 5W LED bulb, the PEAK 5W LED Spotlight conveniently illuminates the darkest of corners, according to PEAK. The 5 Watt LED Spotlight can be found in stores starting Q1 2012 and retails for $29.99.
 
• 900 Peak Amp Power Station Plus — Featuring 450 amps of starting power and 900 peak amps, this power station will jump start the excitement of garage flies everywhere, PEAK says. Featuring a 260 PSI inflator, two 12V power outlets, a USB outlet and countless other features the 900 Peak Amp Power Station Plus can be found in stores starting Q2 2012 and retails for $129.99.
 
• 1200 Watt Mobile Power Outlet Professional Install Kit — From vacations to tailgating, the 1200 Watt Mobile Power Outlet Professional Install Kit provides portable power wherever it’s needed. Featuring soft start technology, two three prong 120V AC outlets, and 1200W of maximum continuous power, this product is available now and retails for $129.99.
 
• Rearview Mirror Back-Up Camera with Bluetooth Speakerphone — This attachable rearview mirror has a built-in 3.5-inch monitor, leaving no need to have another dash-mounted monitor. With a Bluetooth speakerphone, a new swivel camera with a wide-view angle, and the ability to easily mount to a license plate, this product provides peace of mind and safety, according to PEAK. This product can be found stores starting Q2 2012 and retails for $149.99.
 
“From power stations to back-up cameras, this year PEAK Automotive is bringing some new and updated products to APPEX that we’re excited to show off to the industry,” said Susan Sperling, director of marketing for Old World Industries. “Plus with Danica Patrick and other surprises scheduled, our booth will be a must visit for everyone.”
 
PEAK Automotive also will reveal new packaging design for its PEAK Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil, which is more aerodynamic, the company says. It was announced in September that PEAK Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil will be available in three major auto retailers including PEP Boys, Advance Auto and O’Reilly.
