Online registration for the Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) 2008 Annual Convention is now available by visiting www.ASAshop.org/Annual08. The convention will be held May 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA. Attendees may use the secure online form to register for a variety of activities, including two management seminars, ASA’s Celebration of Excellence, housing accommodations and an optional tour of Winchester Mansion.

“We’re looking forward to providing attendees the opportunity to discuss important issues and share ideas with some of the best automotive minds in the industry,” said Aaron Clements, AAM, ASA chairman and owner of C&C Automotive, Augusta, GA. “The annual convention gives attendees the chance to clear their minds of the pressures of everyday life and focus on long-term plans that will benefit their businesses and the industry. I look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Members who register before the early-bird deadline of March 27 will enjoy significant savings. In addition to providing a secure, convenient registration option, the website also includes a list of sponsors, education courses, group tour information and daily agendas.

Included in the agenda are a number of open meetings, including a joint Mechanical Division and Collision Division forum, the Affiliate Assembly, the ASA Board of Directors meeting, a keynote presentation and a lunch featuring the annual State of the Association address by Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. Special networking events include ASA’s Celebration of Excellence, the AMI graduation ceremony and the new Benefit Provider Networking Reception.

ASA advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. For additional information about ASA, including past news releases, go to www.ASAshop.org, or visit ASA’s legislative website at www.TakingTheHill.com.
