The #ChampionChat series enables racing fans and other members of the Champion community to chat live with Harvick via Twitter and TweetChat.com and post video-based questions through the VYou.com conversational video website. The driver of the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet will answer questions for a full hour – from 7 to 7:30 p.m. through Twitter and TweetChat.com and from 7:30 to 8 p.m. at VYou.com. “Our monthly chats give thousands of fans the opportunity to connect with Kevin on a one-to-one basis, and the number of participants grows with each session,” said Federal-Mogul Brand Strategy Manager Jessica Wynn. “Kevin offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at cup racing as well as insight to his career and family. He really enjoys these opportunities to connect with fans in this ever-growing community.”

As official Champion spokesperson, Harvick participates in a number of grassroots initiatives designed to connect the brand’s latest “Performance Driven” technologies with a new generation of consumers. Among these is the popular “Search for a Champion” racing sponsorship contest, which this year will award a total of $125,000 to 15 grassroots racers. Voting for the $50,000 grand-prize sponsorship continues through March 24 at www.AlwaysaChampion.com, and Harvick will announce the winner on April 2.
