NAPA AUTO PARTS announced that East Penn Manufacturing received the organization’s "Spirit of NAPA" award for the second consecutive year.

"Despite a field filled with worthy nominations, East Penn Manufacturing clearly stood out from its peers," said Bob Susor, NAPA AUTO PARTS president. "Receiving this award in consecutive years simply confirms the quality of the individuals involved with our NAPA Battery line."

NAPA Distribution Center general managers throughout the country nominate a supplier for the award based on stringent criteria, including line leadership, shipping performance, product quality and effective cataloging, among others.

Nominations for East Penn cited the quality of its people and products as a main reason for its selection: "They are quick to address challenges that arise and have the vision necessary to dominate our markets. Overall, they continue to set a high standard for NAPA suppliers."

Since 1946, East Penn Manufacturing has been producing a wide variety of lead-acid batteries, battery accessories, wire and cable products. An independent and progressive company committed to the future, East Penn owns and operates the largest single site battery manufacturing facility in the industry.
