In 1930, veterinarian Dr. Floyd Myers opened the doors of his first service station in downtown Gladwin, MI. He treated his animals next door and also served as mayor and Gladwin County sheriff. From the mid 1930s to 1978, Ralph Myers operated the automotive business, and then handed over the reigns to Joe Myers (grandson of Dr. Floyd Myers).
Myers for Tires currently employs 20 full- and part-time employees. It now features 11 bays with all the current technical equipment. The beginning of this year brought a 3,000-square-foot addition to the showroom.
