Halla Visteon Climate Control Honored By Volvo Cars

Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp., a full-line automotive supplier of climate systems and components, has been honored by Volvo Cars with a Quality Excellence Award (VQE Award). Representatives of three European plants of Halla Visteon Climate Control received the awards during a recent ceremony in the Volvo hall in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp., a full-line automotive supplier of climate systems and components, has been honored by Volvo Cars with a Quality Excellence Award (VQE Award). Representatives of three European plants of Halla Visteon Climate Control received the awards during a recent ceremony in the Volvo hall in Gothenburg, Sweden.

"We are honored to receive the VQE certification from Volvo Cars," said Nurdal Kucukkaya, president of Halla Visteon Climate Control in Europe. "HVCC is committed to its continuous improvement that allows us to learn and grow with our customers. We are dedicated to continuing to supply Volvo and our global customers with the highest quality products."

VQE recognizes supplier facilities for achieving excellence in the following areas:

• Capable manufacturing process
• Ongoing performance
• Launch performance
• Continuous improvement
• Customer endorsement

Criteria for the VQE include quality certification based on the ISO TS 16949 and the environmental ISO 14001 standards.
