‘Get Dirty’ Weekend A Big Hit With Federated Customers

It was another great weekend of fun, excitement and racing as the winners of the "Get Dirty with Kenny and the Two Guys" sweepstakes learned from the king of dirt, Kenny Schrader himself, the intricacies of dirt track racing. As an added bonus to this year's event, Kevin Byrd and Willie B., hosts of the Federated-sponsored television show Two Guys Garage, were on hand to film some of the weekend's activities for a future episode of the GAC Network show.

It was another great weekend of fun, excitement and racing as the winners of the “Get Dirty with Kenny and the Two Guys” sweepstakes learned from the king of dirt, Kenny Schrader himself, the intricacies of dirt track racing. As an added bonus to this year’s event, Kevin Byrd and Willie B., hosts of the Federated-sponsored television show Two Guys Garage, were on hand to film some of the weekend’s activities for a future episode of the GAC Network show.

“Everyone involved had just an incredible time and I want to thank our host Kenny Schrader, as well as Kevin and Willie B., for helping make it such a memorable weekend,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president of Federated Auto Parts. “We had a terrific group of Federated Car Care customers on hand, along with their respective Federated member, and the feedback we received has been tremendous.  Every year, we try to make the ‘Get Dirty’ weekend even better and I think we did so this year.”

The winning Federated Car Care Center customers received a dirt driving experience at the Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo. Their instructor for this once-in-a-lifetime experience was NASCAR legend Schrader, who also gave the lucky winners a behind-the-scenes look at the racing business. To kick off the weekend, the contest winners enjoyed an action-packed evening of racing as they watched Craig Dollansky capture the Federated Batteries Ironman 55, a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race, held at the Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway.

The Federated Car Care Center program is one of the fastest growing, complete support programs for some of the nation’s finest automotive service providers. To become a Federated Car Care Center member or for more information, contact your local Federated Auto Parts distributor.
