It was another day for fun and adventure as four Federated Car Care members got the chance of a lifetime to race with NASCAR drivers and dirt track legends Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace. The “rookie” drivers were the winners of the annual “Get Dirty with Kennys Sweepstakes,” a contest exclusively for Federated Car Care Center members.

“It was a great weekend of fun for our Federated Car Care members and, as usual, the Kennys were tremendous hosts,” said J.R. Bishop, director of member services and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts. “The ‘Get Dirty with Kennys’ contest has become extremely popular with our members and we want to thank all who participated.  We also want to thank Kenny and Kenny for being great racing instructors.”

The annual “Get Dirty with Kennys” day of racing took place at Schrader’s I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO, on Sept. 12.  Four Federated Car Care Center members were chosen as winners and were accompanied on the trip by their respective Federated member representative. The winning “dirt track stars” were:

• Mike Bergeron of Mike’s Car Care, Lafayette, LA.
• Kevin Krecklow of Mastertech Automotive, Vancouver, WA.
• Bill Diaz of Bill’s Motor Works, Titusville, FL.
• Jon Massa of Advanced Auto Center, Redford, MI.

To have been eligible to win a chance to “Get Dirty with Kennys,” a shop must have been fully enrolled as a Federated Car Care Center member as of July 15, 2011. The Federated Car Care Center program is one of the fastest growing, complete support programs for some of the nation’s finest automotive service providers.  To become a Federated Car Care Center member or for more information, contact the local Federated Auto Parts distributor.
