Federal-Mogul To Support Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts With Matching Donation Of ANCO Rebate Payouts

The ANCO Wipers brand will help bring vital aid to those affected by Superstorm Sandy and other disasters through a matching contribution announced recently by Federal-Mogul Corporation.

The ANCO Wipers brand will help bring vital aid to those affected by Superstorm Sandy and other disasters through a matching contribution announced recently by Federal-Mogul Corporation. Federal-Mogul will match rebate payouts in the current ANCO “Make it a Better Car” consumer promotion, up to a total of $50,000, in a contribution to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. To help maximize the contribution, the company also is extending the promotion an additional month, through December 31, 2012.

“We hope this contribution – made on behalf of Federal-Mogul and the vehicle owners who rely on ANCO wipers – will help bring much-needed support and comfort to the millions whose lives have been affected by this devastating hurricane,” said Michael Proud, director of marketing, North America, Federal-Mogul Aftermarket.

The ANCO promotion offers rebates of up to $20 to consumers who purchase qualifying wiper blades. Federal-Mogul will match every rebate redeemed by consumers between October 1 and December 31, 2012, with a donation to support Red Cross Disaster Relief, up to a total contribution of $50,000. ANCO wipers are available through leading automotive parts and service providers throughout the U.S.

Consumers can identify the right ANCO wipers for their vehicles by using the www.FMe-Cat.com electronic catalog or www.GetANCO.mobi smartphone website.

As the “Clearest Choice in Wiper Blades,” the ANCO brand has helped multiple generations of consumers stay safe on the road. For additional information concerning Federal-Mogul’s support of the Red Cross, visit www.ANCOWipers.com.
