Continental Offers New VDO ‘OEM Only’ Engine Management And Fuel Supply Replacement Parts

ContinentalContinental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, manufacturer and supplier of VDO OE-engineered aftermarket replacement parts, now offers a new VDO Engine Management and Fuel Supply Program, featuring an exceptional range of premium, VDO branded ‘OEM Only’ replacement parts at competitive prices. These parts come directly from the manufacturer, Continental, and while they are branded VDO, they are the same as parts supplied to vehicle manufacturers worldwide. VDO is a trademark of the Continental Corporation.

Engine management and fuel supply components are essential to the vehicle’s well-being and can directly affect overall drivability, power response, efficiency, fuel economy, and in some cases, even warranty. Until now, these critical parts were typically high priced and available only from the OE dealer.

The VDO Program offers an unbeatable solution for today’s independent shops and technicians, said the company. It includes formerly ‘dealer only’ Electronic Throttle Valves, Air Actuators, MAF and MAP Sensors, Fuel Injectors and Fuel Modules. These high quality, OE parts deliver excellent European, domestic and Asian coverage for popular and high volume vehicles, as well as hard to find applications, said the company.

Continental currently offers 47 SKUs for Electronic Throttle Valve & Air Actuators with excellent coverage for over 10 million vehicles in operation. The Fuel Injector line features 35 SKUs and covers over 21 million vehicles in operation. There are 53 Fuel Module SKUs offering coverage for over 17 million vehicles in operation. The MAF and MAP Sensors line rounds out at 22 SKUs and covers 5.6 million vehicles in operation.

The program was announced by Dan Caciolo, head of product management – engine management & fuel supply, who noted, “When you’re working on engine management or fuel supply systems, there’s no getting around the need to do the job right the first time, and that means using OEM parts you can trust. Aftermarket versions may look and fit the same, but not work the same. You don’t question your quality of work and we don’t think you should need to question the quality of the parts you use.”
