Just days before the start of the season-ending Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, driver Kevin Harvick will participate in a live online chat with Federal-Mogul’s “Performance Driven” Champion community. The #ChampionChat session – open to anyone with access to Twitter – will take place Tuesday, September 10, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. E.T.

The driver of the No. 29 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet will field questions about any racing topic, including the team’s preparations for Sunday’s Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, Joliet Ill., the first of 10 Chase events that will determine the 2013 Sprint Cup champion. With two wins, six top-five and 13 top-10 finishes, Harvick was fourth in driver points through NASCAR’s 26-race “regular season.”

To submit a question during Tuesday’s online chat, simply log on to Twitter and add the #ChampionChat hashtag to the end of each message.

“Kevin and the RCR team are focused on Sunday’s race, so it will be interesting to learn more about their strategy heading into Joliet. Kevin will be able to tell us a lot about a driver’s mental preparation heading into what really is a 10-race season all its own,” said Federal-Mogul Digital Marketing Manager Jessica Wynn.
