Car Care Council Women’s Board Accepting Entries For 2016 Women Of The Year Awards

The Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) is now accepting nominees for the Women of the Year Awards, which include Auto Care Woman of the Year, Female Shop Owner of the Year and Auto Care Woman of Excellence.

Women's Board - Logo“The Women of the Year Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of three extraordinary women leaders who have made significant contributions to the auto care community,” said Amy Mattinat, president, Car Care Council Women’s Board. “If you know someone who has been an inspiration or has been a positive influence in the industry, honor them with a Woman of the Year nomination.”

The award recipients will be recognized during a press conference at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1 in the Venetian Casanova room 505 with the annual Woman’s Board reception immediately following.

The awards are open to women who have made a significant impact in the auto care industry with specific requirements for each individual award. Entry forms, categories and details are available at available here. The deadline for entries is Sept. 1.

The winners of the 2015 Women of the Year Awards were:

• Tammy Chaffee Tecklenburg, Spectrum Brands – Global Auto Care, Auto Care Woman of the Year
• Pamela Gatto, Gatto’s Tire & Auto Service, Female Shop Owner of the Year
• Vonda Lee, Supply Line International, Auto Care Woman of Excellence
