Car Care Council Enhances Online Directory of Repair Shops and Parts Stores

In an effort to provide a more extensive, up-to-date directory of repair shops and parts stores throughout the country for consumers to access, the Car Care Council has expanded its "Find-a-Shop" and "Find-a-Store" online resource.

In an effort to provide a more extensive, up-to-date directory of repair shops and parts stores throughout the country for consumers to access, the Car Care Council has expanded its “Find-a-Shop” and “Find-a-Store” online resource.

To accommodate this enhancement, the council will replace its traditional shop/store locater function with a comprehensive list of company and organization website directories that not only help visitors find a convenient repair shop or parts store in their area, but some also offer information and cost estimates on specific parts and repairs by vehicle make, model and year.

“The Car Care Council wants to provide consumers with the very best resources to help them search for a repair shop or parts store in their area so we have created a special section on our website that lists a number of online directories maintained by distributors, retailers, program groups and other organizations,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council.

The repair shops and parts stores directories now listed on the site include: AAA; ACDelco; Advance Auto Parts; AutoMD; Auto Value and Bumper-to-Bumper; AutoZone; CARQUEST; Extreme Wrench; Federated Car Care Centers; International Automotive Technicians’ Network; NAPA; National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE); National Pronto Association; O’Reilly Auto Parts; Parts Plus; Pep Boys; and RepairPal.
