Brake Parts Inc. has announced the Raybestos brand brakes “Race to Win” promotion, offering customers the chance to win thousands of prizes instantly and a grand-prize trip for two to the 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Allstate 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The “Race to Win” promotion builds on the company’s extensive motorsports involvement as it encourages customers to accelerate sales of Raybestos brand premium brake pads during the promotion period, which runs through April 15, 2006.

Both technicians and counter people can participate in the promotion, which consists of an instant-win game and a sweepstakes draw. For every set of Raybestos brand premium brake pads purchased, technicians will receive a scratch-and-win game card and a chance to instantly win prizes including DVD/VCR combos, XM radios and a trip to Richard Petty Driving Experience. In addition, the scratch-and-win game card will serve as an entry for the sweepstakes grand-prize trip to the Allstate 400.

For every set of Raybestos brand premium brake pads sold, counter people can enter their names and invoice numbers on a “Race to Win” poster displayed in their store that charts sales in increments of 100. When 100 sets of Raybestos brand premium brake pads have been sold, counter people will be eligible to win instant prizes and be entered into the sweepstakes draw for the grand-prize trip to the Allstate 400.

Raybestos brand brakes are produced by Brake Parts Inc., a manufacturer of braking systems and components for the automotive industry and part of Affinia Group Inc. The line includes everything from brake drums to rotors, pads, shoes and hydraulic parts. Raybestos brand brakes are the official brakes of NASCAR, and the NASCAR relationship also includes the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Award, which is presented to the top rookie in each of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck racing series.
