Bosch has received the 2008 ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ Award from the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group. It’s the second year in a row that Bosch was named recipient of this honor.  According to NAPA, the award recognizes Bosch for its continued commitment to the top-notch quality and service that it provides to the NAPA Under Hood Sales Group.

Adam Cosmas, National Account Manager for Bosch was presented the award by Scott LeProhon, Senior Vice President of Merchandising while attending meetings that took place at NAPA Headquarters in Atlanta on March 3, 2009.

NAPA uses a process of individual votes to determine the recipient of the award.  Each member of NAPA’s Under Hood Sales Group rates every vendor in a list of categories. These categories include best support, best follow through, best relationships in the field and at NAPA Headquarters, as well as highest sales growth.

"This is a well deserved award, one that the entire Bosch organization should be proud of," said Jeff Norton, General Manager, NAPA Under Hood Sales Group.  Norton praised the performance of the Bosch team by saying, that "in these tough economic times, they have been able to outperform all of our suppliers – for two straight years." He wished Bosch a repeat performance in 2009.

The Bosch team was especially singled out by NAPA’s field personnel for "outstanding customer service," willingness to step up and try programs," and "great training," all of which play a key role in a successful sales effort.
