AutoFluent Software Gets Upgrade With MyCarfax Tools

Shops using the AutoFluent software can now enroll in the myCarfax Service Shop program and take advantage of free tools like Carfax Service History Check and Carfax QuickVIN.

Total Auto Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) has added valuable resources from Carfax to its AutoFluent automotive business management software. Shops using the AutoFluent software can now easily enroll in the myCarfax Service Shop program and take advantage of free tools like Carfax Service History Check and Carfax QuickVIN built into the software, according to the company. TABS says the addition of these features helps shops better serve their customers, resulting in improved customer loyalty and increased shop revenue.

CARFAX - LogoCarfax QuickVIN uses a vehicle’s license plate to instantly provide the 17-digit vehicle identification number and associated vehicle details, which helps increase car count and reduces parts-ordering errors. Carfax Service History Check is powered by more than 3.5 billion service transactions reported to Carfax, so service advisers can make better maintenance recommendations and find opportunities to increase ticket averages.

“We’re confident that the teamwork between TABS and Carfax will give shop owners a decided edge in servicing their customers and their vehicles,” said TABS Chief Financial Officer Cherie Anderson. “The enhancement of our AutoFluent system helps eliminate any educated guesswork about where a vehicle is in its service cycle and ensures proper-fitting parts are used.”

In addition, shop owners and technicians can get their customers a free myCarfax.com account with one click from within the AutoFluent system. The shop is automatically saved as the customers’ favorite and the customer is sent reminders to their email or mobile device when it’s time to bring the vehicle back for the next service visit.

“The AutoFluent software is a huge asset for our business and we’re excited that myCarfax tools now are built into it,” said Wilfredo Celedon of A-Tech Auto Repair in Fresno, California.  “I love that we can see past service performed so my techs are well-informed, especially when it’s a first-time customer coming in. And, being able to reach a customer through myCarfax.com to tell them it’s time to bring their car back for service is a win-win for us and the customer.”

More than 39,000 service shops and software partners have joined the myCarfax Service Shop program. Millions of consumers use myCarfax.com to keep their vehicle well-maintained. Enrollment in the myCarfax Service Shop program is free for shops and vehicle owners.
