Attendee registration for Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) is tracking significantly ahead for the upcoming 2011 event. Attendee registration for Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) is tracking significantly ahead for the upcoming 2011 event. Comprised of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS), ASRW is scheduled for Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Open for five weeks, registration numbers for expo-only and conference attendees are experiencing near-record numbers in the events’ recent history. As of this week, overall registration for both NACE and CARS is tracking 163 percent ahead and conference registrations are 378 percent ahead. The growth is largely attributed to ASRW’s new East Coast location.

"We responded to the industry earlier this year in relocating ASRW to the East Coast, and the industry is, in turn, responding favorably to these changes," said Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. "While we do expect these percentages to even out somewhat over the coming weeks, it’s incredibly exciting to see such an increase. We are thankful that automotive service and repair professionals, and those who serve them, are demonstrating their support so dramatically. With this influx in registrations and the show floor continuing to fill up, ASRW will grow this year, and it’s going to be a great event."

Attendee registration is available online at www.NACEexpo.com and www.CARSevent.com. Early-bird pricing, which continues through Aug. 9, includes a $15 Expo Pass and individual conference sessions starting at $60.
