ALLDATA is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

"In 1986 our founders had a vision," said ALLDATA President Jeff Lagges. "Since then, we have continued to lead the industry with innovative products that drive efficiencies and profitability throughout a shop’s operations. We like to say that we offer ‘counter-to-fender’ solutions, and it’s true. Our growth has been a direct result of anticipating needs and listening to our customers. We owe a great debt to our customers for helping us develop products that have a positive impact on their businesses."

The electronic automotive repair information industry was created with the founding of ALLDATA by a visionary team led by Rod Georgiu. Since its inception, the company has been headquartered in Elk Grove, CA. In 1996, ALLDATA was purchased by AutoZone to complement its growing professional auto parts business. In 2008, ALLDATA celebrated its 70,000th product subscriber, and just three years later the company announced a record 80,000 subscribers. To continue to meet customer’s needs, ALLDATA successfully launched a new generation of products within the last year: ALLDATA Repair S3000 and ALLDATA Collision S3500. In addition, the company introduced a major update to its fast-selling strategic shop management system, ALLDATA Manage. ALLDATA Market, a customer communications tool, is also rapidly gaining in popularity.

Long-time ALLDATA employee, Patti Collins, says, "I have been with ALLDATA for 20 years, and I have seen many changes. Over the years, the one thing that remains the same is our commitment to our customers. We have never stopped developing products to meet their needs and continue to explore new ways to help them. That’s why I’m still here."

"We have just one overriding goal," added Lagges, "to help our customers succeed. We look ahead and see only greater success, just as those who established ALLDATA envisioned."
